Our congratulations to Glen Eira U3A member tutors Garry Fabian and Reuben Urban, who have both been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the 2023 Australia Day honours.

Garry, a past President of Glen Eira U3A and who will be teaching a course in 2023 on Writing A Family History, received his award for his ‘service to the community through a range of organisations.’

Reuben, who will be teaching two courses in 2023 on Biology and on Digital Photography, received his award for his ‘service to the Jewish community.’
